Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. Were seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program required. (Bachelor's or Doctoral degree acceptable if from an accredited program.)
  • Completion of Level I and Level II supervised fieldwork required.
  • Current OTR credential. Passing the NBCOT exam required prior to start.
  • Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy license required or application submitted to the New Mexico Regulation & Licensing Department prior to start.
  • BLS/CPR certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred for higher-acuity units including ICU, trauma, or neuro. (Preferred, not required.)
  • Experience with ADLs, mobility training, patient lifts, splints, and adaptive devices required.
  • Strong documentation skills and experience using hospital EMR systems required.
  • Continuing education required annually for New Mexico license renewal.
