Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide skilled physical therapy services in home health settings across Manning, SC and surrounding counties. Manage time independently while collaborating with patients, families, physicians, and agency staff. Perform thorough assessments, plan and deliver treatments, document per regulatory and agency standards, and participate in clinical education, quality improvement, and community resource coordination.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active South Carolina physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience providing physical therapy in home health or skilled nursing environments preferred.
• Ability to perform moderate physical activity including frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and driving between patient homes.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to patient homes. Mileage reimbursement provided from the closest branch location or first patient home.
• Familiarity with OASIS documentation, home health regulations, and Medicare Conditions of Participation preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OASIS assessments, start of care, recertification, and discharge processes.
• Prior experience serving as a clinical preceptor, mentor, or educator.
• Comfort with meeting productivity expectations typical to home health operations.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1700.
• Service area includes Clarendon, Sumter, Lee, Darlington, and Florence counties; travel between patient homes expected.
• Expectation to complete at least 20 units of in-home patient care per week.
• Orientation pay provided for up to two weeks, paid as unit-equivalent compensation.
• Limited requested time off; not to extend more than two consecutive days.
• Mileage paid at $0.70 per mile starting at the closest branch location or first patient home.
